Want To Grow Longer Lashes?

Women are always striving to grow longer lashes around their eyes for beauty. It seems many forget that vanity is one of the seven deadly sins. When the human evolved from the ape or as some believe, when Adam and Eve first looked into each others eyes, the two humans saw something different. The woman had longer eye lashes than did her male counterpart. Over the millions of years of evolution this difference around the eyes remains the same and today, having long eyelashes is a sign of beauty – to many. Unfortunately there are many women who do not have long eyelashes and so, these girls revert to cosmetics to give them the beauty they seek. These young women buy all sorts of eye makeup, including eyelash extensions, in an effort to make themselves look more attractive. They spend thousands of dollars each year on petroleum products that merely add beauty temporary. If these people want to grow longer lashes, perhaps it is possible to do it naturally.

A quick search on the Internet and you can find websites that will give you step-by-step instructions and advice on how to grow longer lashes. Let’s look at some of these steps. The first one, I’m told, is to change you diet. Start eating healthier food, stay away for pizza, hamburgers and other tasty but seemingly dangerous foods. Another step is to start applying natural creams to your eyelashes that will make them strong. Vaseline is recommended along with Olive oil. I find this piece of advice rather strange for growing longer lashes. Olive oil is a natural oil, but Vaseline is a by product of oil and synthetically made - so much for the natural oil idea. The next little pearl of wisdom from the “experts” is to rub vitamin E oil in your eyelashes. Vitamin E, apparently, restores hair-growth but not on the head of a bald gentleman, it appears.

The final step in your mission to grow longer hair around your eyes is to trim your eyelashes. Yes, you read that correctly, cutting a little off your eyelashes will make them grow back faster and thicker. Well, that’s the theory. Personally, I don’t believe it. If this theory was true, then every time a bald man went to a barber, over a course of time he would become hairy and hairier eventually not needing to wear the expensive hair-piece he bought in high school. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of hair-brained ideas on how to grow longer lashes, personally I think if God wanted Adam (or Eve) to have longer eyelashes, he would have given us more hair than King Kong.
